How to delete a preexisting project

Using Kebab in the Projects Table

1. Log into the Kinection app and go to the My Dashboard admin screen.
2. Click on “Projects” on the left side.
3. In the Projects table, find the project you want to delete and click on the kebab menu (3 dots) in the Actions column.
4. Select “Delete” from the dropdown menu.
5. A delete module will appear, prompting you to type the name of the project you want to delete.
6. Type the project name and click “Delete”.
7. You will see a success message, and the project will be removed.

Note that you can only delete projects that do not have any associated opportunities or registered people. If the project has those, you can only close the project, not delete it

Using the kebab menu on an individual project screen

1. Log into the Kinection app and go to the My Dashboard admin screen.
2. Click on “Projects” on the left side.
3. In the Projects table, find the project you want to delete and click that project’s title
4. Click on the kebab menu (3 dots) in the upper right hand corner of the project banner
5. Select “Delete” from the dropdown menu.
6. A delete module will appear, prompting you to type the name of the project you want to delete.
7. Type the project name and click “Delete”.
8. You will see a success message, and the project will be removed.

Note that you can only delete projects that do not have any associated opportunities or registered people. If the project has those, you can only close the project, not delete it.
