How to create a new single opportunity using the quick add

Single Opportunity Using the Quick Add
  1. Click the “+” icon in the top right corner and select “Volunteer Opportunity”.
  2. Choose the project you want to add the opportunity to, such as “Greenville Tornado”.
  3. Select the opportunity type (weekly, leadership, RV, etc.) and set the opportunity status to “Public”.
  4. Enter the number of volunteer slots needed.
  5. Set the start and end dates for the opportunity.
  6. Click “Save Opportunity” to create the new opportunity.

 

Bulk Weekly Volunteer Opportunities
  1. Log into the Kinection app and go to the My Dashboard admin screen.
  2. Click on “Projects” on the left side.
  3. In the Projects table, find the project you want to create multiple opportunities for and click on that Project’s title.
  4. Go to the Opportunities tab within the project and click the “Add Opportunities” button.
  5. In the Weekly section, fill out the following fields:
      1. Week Starts on
      2. Week Ends on
      3. Start Date – when do you want the new opportunities to start from
      4. End Date – when do you want the new opportunities to end before
      5. Quantity – the number of slots or individual volunteers you need for each week
      6. Status – the opportunity status you want these new opportunities to have
  6. Click Create Opportunities
  7. The new weekly opportunities will be listed, allowing you to edit or adjust the information.
  8. Click Add Row to create any additional blank opportunities
  9. Review and confirm the details for each weekly opportunity, then click “Create Opportunities”.
