How to create a new project

Using the Quick Add

  1. Click the Quick Add button (the plus icon in the top right corner) and select “Project”.
  2. Enter the project title
  3. Select the disaster type
  4. Enter the date the disaster occurred
  5. Choose a featured image for the project.
  6. Enter the city, state/province and country
  7. Provide a description of the disaster event.
  8. Describe what MDS is doing in response to the disaster.
  9. Optionally, enter a time frame for the project.
  10. Add a location description with details about the affected town.
  11. Provide contact information for the project, such as an email, mailing address, and phone number.
  12. Select the organization this project is associated with.
  13. Set the draft status
  14. Click “Save Project” to create the new project.

 

Using the +New Project from the Projects screen

  1. Click the Projects link in the blue bar section on the left
  2. Enter the project title
  3. Select the disaster type
  4. Enter the date the disaster occurred
  5. Choose a featured image for the project.

  7. Provide a description of the disaster event.
