How to create a new project
Using the Quick Add
- Click the Quick Add button (the plus icon in the top right corner) and select “Project”.
- Enter the project title
- Select the disaster type
- Enter the date the disaster occurred
- Choose a featured image for the project.
- Enter the city, state/province and country
- Provide a description of the disaster event.
- Describe what MDS is doing in response to the disaster.
- Optionally, enter a time frame for the project.
- Add a location description with details about the affected town.
- Provide contact information for the project, such as an email, mailing address, and phone number.
- Select the organization this project is associated with.
- Set the draft status
- Click “Save Project” to create the new project.
Using the +New Project from the Projects screen
- Click the Projects link in the blue bar section on the left
- Enter the project title
- Select the disaster type
