How to create a New Waitlist

  1. Log in to the Kinection app as an admin.
  2. Go to the “Waitlist” section by clicking “Waitlist” in the left-hand menu.
  3. Click the “+ New Waitlist” button, above the search bar on the right side of the screen, to open the waitlist creation form.
  4. Enter a title for the waitlist, such as “Summer 2026 Waitlist”.
  5. Upload a feature image to display at the top of the waitlist page.
  6. Add a description to explain the purpose and timeline of the waitlist.
  7. Set the start and end dates for the waitlist.
  8. Provide contact information for the person managing the waitlist, including their name, job title, phone, email, and optional mailing address.
  9. Select the organization associated with the waitlist.
  10. Set the waitlist status to “Open” so volunteers can submit entries.
  11. Click “Save Waitlist” to create the new waitlist.
